Seasick Steve Nashville reviews
Coldplay was 2 hours late (without notice).
I really enjoyed the concert by Seasick Steve, and I was eagerly anticipating their music. They played most of their hits during their hour and a half performance on stage. However, they were 2 hours late without any explanation, even though the show was scheduled to begin at 7pm. The delay may have been due to the band waiting for the stadium to fill up or for darkness to set in, as their show features fireworks and light wristbands. The addition of lights and fireworks was a nice touch, but adjusting the start time would have been a simple solution. It would have been more considerate to start the show at 9pm, given the circumstances of a late August evening in Maryland. While I understand that delays happen, a 2-hour delay, particularly on a Sunday night before a work day, was quite inconvenient. Despite knowing I would be returning home late due to the distance, the prolonged delay was disappointing. I hope this delay was not a recurring issue for future shows, as it significantly impacts the audience's enjoyment. The first hour was enjoyable, with the crowd participating in activities like the wave, clapping, and listening to the opening act. However, as the second hour dragged on, restlessness set in among the audience. If the concert had been scheduled to start at 9pm, I would have still bought tickets but adjusted my plans accordingly. It would have been better if the band had set a later start time to avoid the 2-hour wait.
